Something new is coming to Newton Centre.

On Saturday morning, June 13, Newton Centre's Union Street will transform into a vibrant farmers’ market festival, featuring farm fresh produce, local makers and family-friendly activities.

More than 25 vendors will line the street, which will be closed to car traffic, while nearby shops and restaurants are open—many offering special farmers’ market promotions throughout the day.

Lanni Orchards

L🍓cal Strawberries & More

Lanni Orchards is a family-owned farm in Lunenburg, Massachusetts, known for its fresh local produce, pick-your-own fruit, and classic New England farm experiences. Operating for more than 60 years, the orchard grows apples, berries, peaches, pumpkins, and vegetables across nearly 90 acres, while its year-round farm stand features baked goods, local products, and seasonal favorites like cider donuts and corn mazes.

Sustainable Growing Practices

Unlike traditional farms, Farmer Tim’s sustainable practices both take care of the land and grow nutrient-dense food that’s packed with flavor and lasts longer in the fridge. Farmer Tim will be at the market with spring vegetables including lettuce, kale, bok choy, napa cabbage, radishes, hakurai turnips, spinach, broccoli, collard greens, and more. He'll also have information on both his CSA and weekly produce ordering for Wednesday pick-ups at Newton Centre's Fulfilled Goods.

3rd Generation Farm

This fourth-generation family farm from Haverhill has been part of the Newton Farmers Market since the market opened over 40 years ago.  Wally's is known for its fresh and local fruits, vegetables, and farm products like honey.

They'll be at the market with some of their best sellers like tres leches cake, carrot cake, chocolate chip cookies and over-the-top cinnamon buns.

Newton has a new chocolate company! Bebe's Little River Chocolate Co. is a small-batch chocolate maker using quality ingredients. Sponge candy is a core focus for the business, made by hand, in small runs, and coated in chocolate shortly after production. Other offerings include chocolate clusters, butter crunch toffee, barks, caramels, and seasonal molded chocolates.
